Decide where you would like to get married. You can access a list of venues that have been approved to host a legal marriage or civil partnership.

You need to book a registrar to attend, as soon as possible to secure your date, even if it is a few years to the ceremony. You can book once you have -

  • chosen your venue
  • discussed availability
  • agreed a date

If there is a different location where you would like to have your ceremony and it is not approved, you may want to consider a Freedom Ceremony.
